What is Happening in FIRST GRADE?

2026 Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences

It's hard to believe it is that time of year already. We look forward to meeting with all of you and catching up with you about how your child is doing so far this year. Please be on the lookout for the conference sign up from your teacher.

Report Cards/Progress Reports

Please be on the lookout for your child's report card/progress report. They will be available for you to view on October 30th.

Cold Weather

Please be sure to send your child to school with proper clothes for recess; including shoes, jackets and/or sweatshirts. We go out even when it is cold (the first recess is

the coldest). We will go out if there is a light drizzle. Please label jackets, sweatshirts, and all other clothing with your child’s name.

Volunteers Needed

We would love parent volunteers to support students as they log onto their computers during Math WIN each week from 8:25-9:00. Please use this link to sign up.

Halloween

We will have a Halloween celebration on Friday, October 30th. Students can wear their costumes to school as long as they do not interfere with learning otherwise they can put them on before the parade. Masks and weapons are not allowed at school. We will have our Halloween party from 11:40-1:00. Parents are encouraged to sign up to volunteer if they would like to participate. The Halloween parade will be at 2pm outside of the school. All families are welcome to join and watch the parade.
